MDN's can be easily rejected by the user, but DSN's can't, and DSN's can be a nice supplement to other proof in court. One customer regularly sends e-mails to a specific person who often denies having received the e-mails, and the case might end up in court. I'm working partly as a computer consultant advising customers which software they should use.
